I went to Tire Kingdom to get my spark plugs checked. They wanted to charge me $99 for a diagnostic machine, but I had already been quoted $50 by one of their employees.

When I mentioned the quote that the previous employee gave me they honored it with hesitance. Once they diagnosed the car (a 2006-Ford Taurus) they claimed that I needed a new distributor coil. They quoted me $347.00. I refused to pay that amount and went across the street to Meineke, they quoted me $150.00.

I got the job done and after it was all said and done, it turned out that it wasn't the coil.

They did not charge me anything and they put the old coil back at no charge. Tire Kingdom gave me the wrong diagnosis and I had to pay $50 for nothing.

Monetary Loss: $50.
