Poor customer service

AI Highlights
  • - Installation slots were shown, but the store claimed no tires in stock and no install this week; online prices were lower and stock info conflicted.

I was scheduling tire installation on Sunday, July 5. They showed openings at 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM, and 4 PM.

I had already set my tires. They said that they were in stock. They showed that they were on sale, and I wanted to make sure that they could do the installation, so I called the store. The store said they did not have those tires in stock, that there was no sale on those tires, and that there was no way that they could do an installation on those tires today or any day this week.

Every day on their calendar showed that there were openings for that, and they said the quickest they could get to it would be the following Friday. This is ridiculous. They also quoted me prices of tires that were double the amount of the ones that showed online. They said that they had five in stock.

Is this bait and switch? Poorest customer service that I've ever had anywhere.

Preferred solution: Apology

Tire Kingdom - Tell me one thing got another

Had an appointment at 11:30. Fine.

Bring car, no wait. Said 1 hour to 2:00 hour, fine. Came 3 hours later; car was still outside. Now I'm pissed off.

Said sorry, I will discount $200.00 for your wait (what do they do, take cars with more money first? Yes). Bill was $740.00, $200.00 = $540.00. Started excuses after excuses about discounts, no discounts.

Still paid $740.00. Won't be there ever again after 18 years.

I visited your store in Miami Gardens Florida today December 27, 2025 after leaving the store while driving home I noticed a noise coming from the passenger front tire after a few minutes I heard something fall from the car but I was afraid to stop because I had lost control of the car at that point when I went to review the area I found a large object that was left on my vehicle. I returned to the store to speak with the supervisor who attempted to ignore the seriousness of this.

I would like to request a call back because I have damages to my vehicle and I will wait on your call. My number is 954-446-****

Tire Kingdom - My car was worked on at the northlake location and my tires are damaged...

Contacted management and my problem was never resolved

Updated by user Sep 18, 2025

Horrible experience. When I bought my tires they uncharged me for an all different things that I didn’t need.

I paid for an alignment and it was not done properly so the tires were damaged severely in 3 months. Then when I went back to say this happened they told me that it’s my fault the tires all damages and I was 2 weeks past the 90 day warning so I had to buy new tires at full price. And I had no choice because by the time I noticed the damage on the inside of the tires they were so damaged it was no longer safe to drive like that. They also scratched my new rims while changing my tires.

The tires I bought have a 45000 mile warranty.

It should have been covered because the rear tires were completely compromised in under 3 months and it’s because the alignment was not done properly. I believe customer service could have done much more to satisfy me a customer.

Tire slashed

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Spent $1,050 for an alternator service.
  • - After service, a 2-inch sidewall slash appeared on the front right tire, and the customer wants a replacement.
Tire Kingdom - Tire slashed

Brought in my daughter-in-law's Dodge Caravan yesterday for a new alternator. I paid with my Tire Kingdom credit card.

$1,050.00 later, we picked up her car and drove it four short blocks home. When we got home, we heard the tire hissing and noticed the front right tire had a 2-inch slash in the sidewall. We immediately returned the van, and the manager said it didn't happen during service. I'm sorry, but I don't believe him.

The tire was purchased at a different tire store just 2 weeks ago. Now we are out one new tire. After leaving, the manager called us and said he would give us $50 for the slashed tire. Seems like he was admitting that it happened at his shop.

What I would like is a new tire to replace the damaged one, not $50.

I have been a customer for years, but unless this is resolved in a fair manner, I see no reason to ever go back or ever recommend this company to my friends or family. I may even take this up with the Better Business Bureau.

Loss:
$130
Pros:
  • Close to home
Cons:
  • Tire was slashed while in for service

avoid tire kingdom at all costs unless you want to play Russian roulette with your car repairs.

Original review May 29, 2025
FYI: They did pay for all the repairs at the dealer--as they should have. BUT THEY STILL STINK.

They should have paid to have ALL 20 Lug Studs and Lug Nuts replaced!
A year later, I'm still dealing with overtightened lug nuts. Had to replace two more wheel studs again today. They use impact wrenches to put lug nuts back on--you're supposed to hand-tighten first and then torque them properly by hand.
How is this even possible? Because when they damaged a few, it set off a chain reaction.

Last I checked, I've had to replace around 9 out of 20 total wheel studs. Now I have replaced 11 of the 20. I basically need to replace the rest of them now, because once a stud is over-torqued, it stretches the metal--even if you can't see it. It's weakened microscopically and will fail sooner or later.
I'm just done with this Tire Kingdom.
There is ZERO that can be said about their service techs.

How can you have this many overtightened lug nuts unless you're actively doing it wrong on every car?
They are the worst-managed, worst-trained techs in the business. DO NOT trust them with your car. You could end up stranded with a flat tire--and a perfectly good spare--because you literally can't get the wheel off without breaking studs thanks to their incompetence. And do you have the tools, special puller and spare lug studs and lug nuts?

Probably not.
The last place this car was before I took it to Costco for a simple rotation? You guessed it--Tire Kingdom.
With all the prior damage to the lug nuts and studs, there's no one else to blame. At this point, it feels like intentional vandalism.
So now I take 5 extra studs, 5 extra nuts, a stud puller, all tools to remove the wheel, caliper/caliper frame and bolts to push the rotor off, just in case. That is ridiculous to have to do that but we have to or risk getting stranded somewhere.
Think twice before going to Tire Kingdom.
If you read this far, don't take my word for it, DO NOT!

Read every 1/2 star review of them. These don't sound like issues with the customers rather with Tire Kingdom management and staff.

Complaint about racial and unnecessary comments while waiting

AI Highlights
  • - Front desk ticketed tire checks; we only asked to air four tires.
  • - 40 minutes later, hubcaps removed; tires checked; Brady the clerk was loud and rude.

At the Cortez location in Bradenton, FL, the gentleman at the front counter put in a ticket for our car to have all 4 tires checked. We ONLY asked to put air in all 4 tires.

40 minutes later after slow mechanic took all 4 hubcaps off, raised the car and slowly did all 4 tire checks, he pulled our car out, we said thank you and he walked away without even an acknowledgement.

While waiting the front clerk, Brady, with the ankle monitor made statements about not Go to tge one ontrying to be a Karen while loudly speaking on the phone and also gave a Spanish man a hard time, telling his coworker that the man is refusing to speak English. As the man walks away, he addresses the man as..hey, Popi..this same clerk has been rude and loud and confrontational during the last 3 visits.
