Heads up on Tire Kigdom corporate greed

Let me tell you something about Tire Kingdom.. I went there to get a brake job I knew it was my front disc brakes that needed replacing and I knew I would need to replace my rotors.. so I went to tire kingdom and before he even looked at my truck he stated "Oh that's going to be a $180.00 bucks just to start" I figured ok I knew it might be about that figure so I agreed to let them take a look at them to let me know the final price to repair my brakes...LOL!! let me tell you when the finally finished inspecting my truck he comes back to me and gives me the total price to repair my brakes..get this $1080.00 I just stood there and looked at him dumb founded...like dude come on its just a break job..he then stated that I needed new rotors, cylinders, and a whole bunch of other crap oh and they included the extended warranty without my approval so I told him all I wanted was the rotors and the brake pads ok then he give me another statement $500.00 I like man please I will just go and check some where else.. he tried to tell me oh if you don't get your brakes fixed soon you could have no brakes so I suggest you let us do them and we can take $30.00 off the price..I'm like dude how about $300.00 off the cost of what is actually cost to replace my breaks.. he declined so I went to another auto service repair shop.. and had them fixed and you know how much it cost me? $203.53 that's it.. I did some research on the parts that tire kingdom was trying to replace and you know what they charge double what the parts are.. my rotors were $40.00 a piece they were charging me $80.00 for just one rotor..I will give you some simple advice if you go to tire kingdom be prepared to be bent over with no vaseline. you get the picture good. I warn you to stay away from these greedy corporate *** mongers all they want is to squeeze every penny they can get out of you...

I am a master auto tech 27 yrs in the business.I also work for a mojor tire/service center.actually within walking distance from TK.This is rampant in this industry.we are forced by these corperations to upsell to the max.to the point of being fired for not doing it and I strongly agree the parts markup is way out of line.

I was a GM for them for years. Most of their Techs are shade tree and everyone is on commission. What can you expect. If your dumb enough to use them, you deserve what you get.
